The Norms of Collaborating

About 2 weeks ago we did a task called Visual Note-taking where we had to work together in a group of 3 and take notes about a story we analyzed over our summer break but while only using 10 words. It was quite challenging but we worked together really well and it also ended up being a lot of fun. One norm that would have made the most difference in our group work is Posing Questions because we mainly agreed on what to draw without actually exploring it in more depth and discussing it which would have made our drawing and our presentation clearer. If I had to choose one person in my life that does the best to model the norms of collaboration I would choose every single teacher at our school and other schools too. The teachers all have to work together especially if some are teaching the same subjects and so have to work together on a day to day basis creating lesson plans and so on. But the teachers also have to work together with the students which I find they do really well. I personally want to ask the norm Posing Questions more because I think that that would really help me to get into more depth and understand the topic better than I am already. The Done Manifesto can help you with creative work by giving you a plan that could help you with creative work because I think that that’s always hard to get done and be content with. The Done Manifesto gives you a plan and tips on how to best complete work and what you should keep in mind while working so I think that that's really helpful for creative work. Here I linked a song that I find fits really well with what my group was exploring which is an inner struggle and trying to win a fight with yourself. I want to thank my entire team Lisa and Jasmin because it was honestly great to work with them and we all collaborated very well together so thank you.
